by David Burden.

In David's own words:-

As a qualified SCUBA diver I wanted to do something more with my diving other than wreck or general sea dives. After meeting some of the team from the MaryRose I was invited to dive on site, initially as a volunteer diver. I soon joined the team full time for the next 5 years, having given up my full time work as a cartographer/surveyor. I was appointed Chief Diver, then later qualified as a Commercial Diver, I was on the Salvage Team till the ship was raised. Following on from the Mary Rose I worked offshore in the North Sea as a diver, then became skipper/captain of survey vessels. When I retired I volunteered for National Coastwatch Institution, based at Gosport.

All Welcome !

No Need to Book
