Joining Instructions

If you wish to join the waiting list to become a member of Emsworth Slipper Sailing Club, please login and complete the online form.

Most importantly, this needs to include your Proposer and Seconder. The Proposer can be any existing full adult member of the club, but your Seconder must be a member of the General Committee. If you don't yet know anyone at the club, please contact the membership secretary before submitting your application Membership Secretary. Thank you.

To submit an application to join the waiting list please first create an account using the Create Account button below,(or if you already have an account use the Login button). Once you have done that the membership application will display. Please complete this and click on the Apply button. Your membership request will be sent to the Membership Secretary. You will immediately receive an email with your account details and confirmation of receipt of your application into the process.

ESSC is always keen to welcome new members. However, we do currently have a waiting list and no new members will be approved in 2025. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to continue your application for membership in July each year and you must ensure that your proposer and seconder have completed their supporting statements so thats when vacancies for membership occurs, your application will be ready. Please note that applications are looked at in the date order thatthey are received.

We will not start inviting those on the waiting list to join until our renewal process has taken place in January each year and the number of invites will depend on how many vacancies we have then. 2026 membership rates are :

Adult £131

Family (a couple - husband & wife/partners, consisting of 2 adults, with or without children under 8) £201

Junior (8-11) £44

Youth (12-17) £65

Young Adult (18-23) £90

Please note there is an initial one off joining fee for the adult and family memberships:

Adult: £131

Family £201

If you are wishing to join as a Junior, Youth or Young Adult there is no waiting list but please contact the Membership Secretary for further information.

Do Not at this time complete the GoCardless section as this is inappropriate until your membership application is approved.
