If you wish to join the waiting list to become a member of our lovely club, please LOGIN and complete the online application form..

Most importantly, your application needs to include your Proposer and Seconder. The Proposer must be any existing Full Adult Member of the club, and your Seconder must be a current serving member of the club's General Committee.. To submit an application to join the waiting list please first create an account using the Create Account button below,(or if you already have an account use the Login button). Once you have done that the membership application will display. Please complete this and click on the Apply button. Your membership request will be sent on online to the Membership Secretary once completed and submitted. You will immediately receive an email with your account details and confirmation of receipt of your application into the process.

ESSC is always keen to welcome new members, particularly those interested in a range of water sports. However, we do currently have a waiting list and on average memberships are approved between a year to 18 months once submitted.. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to continue your application for membership in July each year and you must ensure that your proposer and seconder have completed their supporting statements so that when vacancies for membership occurs, your application will be ready. Please note that applications are looked at in the date order that they are received.

We will not start inviting those on the waiting list to join until our renewal process has taken place in January each year and the number of invitees will depend on how many vacancies we have at that point..

2026 membership rates are :

Adult £131

Family (a couple - husband & wife/partners, consisting of 2 adults, with or without children under 8) £201

Junior (8-11) £44

Youth (12-17) £65

Young Adult (18-23) £90

Please note there is an initial one off joining fee for the adult and family memberships comparable to the annual membership subscription:

If you are wishing to join as a Junior, Youth or Young Adult there is no waiting list but please contact the Membership Secretary for further information.

Do Not at this time complete the GoCardless section as this is inappropriate until your membership application is approved.

Dinghy storage charges from Spring to Autumn range between £45.00 and £120.00 depending upon the category of member applying and storage location of the dinghy.

Cruiser storage charges from Autumn until Spring are according to the size of vessel and crane lift out and lift in charges also apply.

Dinghy storage charges from spring until autumn range between £45.00 and £125.00 depending upon the category of member applying and storage location of the dinghy.

Cruiser storage charges from autumn until spring are according to the size of vessel, and Crane lift charges also apply.
