Honours Board
The club Honours Board is being finalised and we go to print very shortly. We are still awaiting details of Matt Johnston's victories in the Squib and Cornish Shrimper Nationals. It lists anyone who has won a National, European or World championship or has been to the Olympics. It is for class racing only and is open to dinghy, keelboat or radio sailing champions. Hare and Hounds 2025
The winter H&H series kicks off on 25 Oct. This year Paul and Kerry will be providing hot soup and/or cheesy chips or similar after every race, and the bar will be open. All competitors and club members welcome, especially our guests competing from ESC and TISC. Prize-giving and Mulled wine will be immediately after the last race on 21 Dec. See you there! Dinghies left in boatpark
Please can anyone identify the owners of these boats left in the boatpark? They need to be removed now as very soon, there will be over 30 boats coming back to take part in the Hare and Hounds, so every inch of space is needed. Many thanks, Andrew Gould Dinghy Secretary

Great News - we are raising funds for a second rowing boat
The General Committee have agreed to purchase a second rowing boat. With thanks to Pam Palmer, this is on the back of a successful application for a Sport England grant.

ESSC CRUISER REGATTA, SATURDAY 6 SEPT - AN EXCITING RACE !
Our Cruiser Regatta took place on Saturday 6 September. 15 Yachts took part, including 5 from CCRC. This was an exciting race in fine weather, with winds gusting from F5 to F6. Most boats had one or two reefs in. Jennie Vaughan, our Cruiser Secretary announced the results at the Regatta Supper in the evening. Congratulations to the winner

ON SATURDAY JUNE 28th - ESSC WINS IN ANNUAL YOKE CRUISER RACE V ESC !
The Yoke annual cruiser race between the two clubs, took place in fine weather on Saturday June 28th. Challenging winds, gusting to the top of F6, made for a lot of exciting sailing up to the finish at Beaulieu River entrance. 14 ESSC cruisers took part and 10 from ESC. See the results below.
