Youth Sailing
Slipper Youth Sailing is a year round youth club teaching sailing and trying a wide range of water activities.
Run by an adult RYA qualified Senior Dinghy Instructor, the water activities are usually from April through October on a Wednesday evening if tide suits on the harbour or the Millpond, and anything from sailing to paddleboarding to windsurfing to 'kayaking the creeks' to mucking about in a rowing boat, with lots of other fun things, too many to mention, with your friends and soon-to-be friends. Through the winter, there are several social activities from Air Hop to Ice-skating to informal meets at the club.
Youth members may also participate in sailing training sessions. Sailing On-The-Tide (SOTTs) is for experienced sailors who have already achieved RYA level 2 and will sail from the beach on-the-tide, working on achieving their RYA Stages 3 and 4 in a more challenging environment.
Registration is now open to junior/youth club members for 2022 and we are hoping to commence SOTTs on Sunday 1st May 2022. Please complete a registration form (see download below) as soon as possible to secure a place in this years SOTTs training sessions. Please email completed registration forms to juniors@emsworthslippersc.org.uk
