Juniors
All Junior members of ESSC can participate in a fantastic programme of fun, confidence building sailing sessions on Friday nights (FNO) or Sunday mornings (SMO) on the Millpond or Sundays on the Tides (SOTTs). During FNO and SMO, Junior members can work towards gaining their RYA levels 1 and 2 on the millpond in a safe and confidence boosting environment. Once gaining their level 2 certificate, juniors can then progress to SOTTs where they can work on gaining their levels 3 and 4 in a more challenging environment.

The SOTTs sessions at Slipper are for Junior members who have gained their RYA stage 2, consolidating and building on the experience gained on the millpond. SOTTs sessions take place on the open water of the harbour and work towards RYA stages 3 and 4. Unlike FNOs and SMOs, SOTTs cover a number of different classes including Oppies, Tera’s, Feva’s and Toppers.
Sessions are tide dependent – please see the 2019 SOTTs programme for timings.
