Junior & Youth Training Registration - 2026

The training sessions offered are Friday Night Oppies, Sunday Morning Oppies and Sailing-on-the-Tide. Friday and Sunday Oppie sailing are both on Emsworth Mill Pond and for those who are new to sailing and/or working towards RYA Stages 1 or 2. Sailing-on-the-tide is on a Sunday, is subject to tide times and for experienced sailors who have already achieved RYA Stage 2 and will sail from the foreshore in more challenging conditions. The minimum age for sailing instruction is 4-5 years and your child(ren) must be in school Reception year on 1st April this year to register for this season.

Fridays 5:30-7:30
Friday Night Oppies (for those working towards RYA 1 and 2)

Sundays 9:30-11:30
Sunday Morning Oppies (for those working towards RYA 1 and 2)

Sundays - subject to tide (dates/times on club calendar)
Sailing-on-the-Tide (for those working towards RYA 3 and 4 - must hold RYA Stage 2 certificate)
