CHRW PB Volunteers Briefing Evening
FREE powerboat practice sessions...
We have received a number of requests from CHRW volunteers for practical training covering the types of situations commonly encountered during race week. Many of these scenarios are also directly applicable to operations at the top of the harbour.
We have a number of our experienced RIB drivers, PB and Safety Boat Instructors who have kindly volunteered to run some training.
Sessions will be practical and scenario-based, ranging from recovering a dinghy with a stuck mast from the mud, to anchoring the Maid in as many weather scenarios possible. In addition, we plan to include shore-side sessions on race awareness and what to expect when around 400 dinghies, across three fleets, are spread throughout the harbour.
These sessions are for CHRW crews primarily but also all our Patrol boat volunteers and crews that would like to build up their skills.
Come along and add the scenarios you want covered and find out how to get involved and get some FREE practice.
