Dinghy Sailing

The dinghy section encourages all types of sailing whether it is racing or pleasure.

Racing takes place from April to December and all levels of sailors are encouraged to take part.

We normally race jointly with Emsworth Sailing Club, both using the same courses but with our own start/finish line. There are a variety of boats taking part with active RS400, Devoti D-Zero, 2000, Laser and Oppie fleets. We also run short course racing for the slower boats.

Slipper is a self-help club so all Dinghy sailors are expected to help with Race Officer/Patrol Boat or other duties. Please click the 'Calendar' tab above and select the blue 'Dinghy Racing' tab for the races and dates, or sign in to the Members area and look at the Duty Roster to volunteer.
