ESSC Social Committee are Running a Seal Safari
Experience the wonderful seals and natural beauty of Chichester Harbour on a seal safari trip. The trip offers a quiet and peaceful way to enjoy the harbour and observe the harbour seals and grey seals in their natural habitat. A seal expert will be onboard to provide commentary as you travel.

On this trip we will depart from Itchenor Pontoon and proceed to Oar Rythe, to the west of Thorney Island where we will observe the Seals, in relatively close proximity, hauled out on the sands. The date of this trip coincides with the seal's pupping season.
Please dress for the weather on the day, the boat has a toilet on board. Please bring a packed lunch and drink. There is a pay on exit car park at Itchenor.(PO20 7AE) If event is cancelled due to weather, your ticket will be refunded.
On board, we will have a naturalist who will explain all the details of the lives of the Harbour and Grey seals that reside in Chichester Harbour.
