Cranwell Cup 1

All The Cranwell Cup - 17 and 18 April 2021 Hooray!! Lift in has successfully happened thanks to Mark Mansfield for his superb organisation and now we can look forward to our exciting first sailing event of the season - the Cranwell Cup. See the attached poster. This is a two day navigation race, where the skipper decides their own start time. But it is also a great opportunity for that first shakedown cruise if you don't want to do the race. There are berths booked at Shepards Wharf marina at Cowes. As with all our events this year, there is no pre-arranged evening dining organised. If all goes according to plan, outside hospitality should open on 12 April, so you may be able to organise your own individual food to eat outside or take away - or resort to eating on board. If you would like to join in this first shakedown event, please let me know by Sunday 11 April. I have to give Shepards Wharf the following information about the boats taking part and I will need all the following details please
PLEASE NOTE - There is a new payment process for your berth. Shepards also ask for your email addresses which I will add to their form. This is so they can invoice you for the berthing fee which needs to be paid in advance. When you get the invoice, you need to either phone (they prefer this) or you can pay online. The course is as shown in the attached poster. And for clarity it is permissable to use the Dolphin passage for this race if you wish. If you are racing please ensure you make a note of your start and finish times for both Saturday and Sunday. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the water at last. Lets hope this is the first successful event of many. Fair winds Jennie Vaughan ESSC Cruiser Secretary |
