Last weekend saw the wind return, and after what seemed like anage of light wind racing, saw the Watmore 5 being raced in a F5-6 which took a few of us a little while to get used to. More of that below but looking ahead to this week we have Tango 3 on Thursday starting at 6.00 and on Friday we have a social sail at 1815.
Looking ahead to this week’s dinghy sailing we have Social sailing on Wednesday and Friday, the Watmore 5 on Saturday and a Club Improver sail on Sunday, and also Thorney Island SC Regatta on Sunday as well
An original Dell Quay Dory 11, in the original gel coat and has not been painted. Complete with ores, bow cushion, two bucket seats, anchor rope and chain, and electric bilge pump. The out board is a Yamaha 30 manual two stroke, 5 gallon fuel tank and spare prop. The road trailer comes with lighting board and has new suspension units, bearings and wheels. The condition is good for its age and is all in good running order
Please click to see the sailing Instructions and entry form for the Thorney island sailing Club Regatta
I will post any instructions about getting access to the island as soon as I receive them
Looking ahead to this week’s sailing it is all looking a little quieter than of late, we have Tango 2 on Friday at 6.45 and the fourth improver sail on Sunday at 8.30
Friday 8 June – Tango 2 – 1845 start, second of seven in the summer evening Tango series, we had a fantastic 22 dinghies from Slipper for the first race it would be great to have as many as possible for this one, what better way could there be to end the week.
Up for sale is my Walker Bay 8 with inflatable rubber skirt.
It hasnt been used for about 2 years, but is in good condition just needs to be used.
