Social Event (Bistro Night)
Live Music - French Bistro Night - Saturday 31st July, 7.30pm
Can't take a holiday in France at the moment! Well we've brought a little bit of France to Slipper SC!
Come to our French style Bistro Night on Saturday 31st July, 7.30pm, with supper accompanied by live music! On the menu is Coq au vin, with French bread, followed by a cheese board served by Dennis and Lesley.
The music from Jane Cooke, a well-known local jazz singer, accompanied by talented keyboard player Rob Clunes, will give a typical French Bistro ambience for our first real social evening since lockdown has been lifted!
Tickets at £17 are now available and may only be purchased on-line by members.
Despite the legal end to lockdown, we are still using common sense and "a duty of care" to keep our members safe, so the room will be well-ventilated, tables will be socially-distanced and you are encouraged to wear masks when not sitting at your tables. With this event, we can accommodate up to 50 members, so please book early to avoid disappointment. There will be tables for 2 or up to 6 people. If wishing to sit together at a table, we ask you to pay for the whole group (2-6 people).

Guidance on Booking - You must log in to the club website in order to book. Select the number of tickets you require and then go to "basket" to pay. If using "Go-Cardless", there may be some delay before the money is debited from your nominated account and, provided you receive a confirmation email, your booking is confirmed. If paying by Bank Transfer, please mention Bistro Night in the reference.
