WNY 6 - Toppers on the pond - Posted on May 27th 2009

It was a fantastic turn out and we were all rushing on to the water to start sailing the courses that had been laid out. we split into two groups - Alex Thorsby was in charge of the more experienced sailors and Pete McCoy was leading the intermediate and the beginners. We were slalom racing through the buoys in a sausage shaped course before heading into the final race, which was a triangle course. After a few rounds of tag with a soft football we headed back to the pontoon. The boats were packed away very efficiently and we all raced to grab the first shower after a nice session on the pond. The winds were challenging but we survived!
